Under this condition we need to take certain precautions to save ourselves from this extreme heat. Request you to share the below detail’s with all your team members, friend’s & your families and make them feel how much we care .
Outdoor Activities:
- Avoid non-essential outdoor physical activities between 11 am and 3 pm, as
temperatures may reach 45 to 55 degrees Celsius. Follow any additional guidance
from local authorities. If you experience symptoms like suffocation or sudden illness,
seek medical attention immediately. - Ensure the availability of drinking water in earthen pot and ORS.
Important Information:
- With temperatures expected to rise between 45 to 55 degrees Celsius and a stifling atmosphere due to cumulus clouds, please follow these guidelines for your safety.
For Car Users:
- Remove the following items from your car to prevent hazards:
o Gas canisters
o Lighters
o Carbonated beverages
o Perfumes and appliance batteries - Keep car windows slightly open for ventilation.
- Do not fill the car’s fuel tank completely.
- Refuel the car in the evening.
- Avoid overfilling car tyres, especially when traveling.
Domestic Precautions:
- Be vigilant for scorpions and snakes seeking cooler areas; they may enter parks and
homes. - Minimize mobile phone usage to prevent overheating.
- Consume cold beverages like curd, buttermilk, and vine juice.
- Drink plenty of water and fluids.
- Keep gas cylinders out of direct sunlight.
- Allow your air conditioner to rest for 30 minutes after running for two to three hours
if the outside temperature is 45-47°C. - Set your home air conditioner to 24-25°C.
- Avoid direct sun exposure between 11 am and 3 pm or follow state government
directives.
